Telesales Executive

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Telesales Executive at a leading provider of technical services for the automotive and manufacturing industries based in Coventry.

Highly motivated and ambitious Outbound Telesales Professional to work in a B2B sales environment arranging appointments with business owners and senior management in various industry sectors to discuss their business requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Researching companies to find potentially suitable companies who may be interested in joining our customer base.
  • Outbound calling to B2B potential clients aiming to speak to the decision makers in order to promote and sell our products and services.
  • Generate qualified client meetings for the sales team
  • SalesForce Upkeep/Administration
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as required.
  • Offer administration support for Sales and Bids team
  • Support production of marketing campaigns, newsletters, e-shots etc
  • Work with Sales colleagues to identify industry trends and potential opportunities
  • Collect and coordinate internal knowledge (from sales and operational colleagues) about customers, competitors and industry.
  • Circulate information and findings about customers, competitors, innovations and industry to sales colleagues and senior management.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities associated with the role. In addition, you will perform other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as outbound telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Experience in new business development and existing business growth
  • Experience of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone
  • Experience of working independently and identifying priorities
  • Experience working as part of a team in an office environment

Desirable

  • Experience of working within the manufacturing or other B2B service sector

Required Skills, Abilities and Personal Qualities

  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS software particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Positive and determined approach
  • Negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
  • Flexible, adaptable approach to workload
  • Strong oral communication skills
  • Team orientated
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure

Salary for this role is £25,000 per annum.

Working hours for this role are 40hrs p/w Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
