Team Leader - Learning Disabilities and Mental Health

Job Description

Our client is one of the largest providers la of supported accommodation services various clients such as Autism, Learning disabilities, mental health and older people. They aim to help vulnerable people find opportunities to change their lives and futures.

Position Available: Team Leader - Mental Health / Learning Disabilities, Permanent, £25,000-30kpa, 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a Team Leader with experience with a care and support service ideally mental health or learning disabilties. This role would also suit someone with senior support experience looking for that next step.

This is a small supported living service for 4-6 clients.

About the job:

-You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Support workers.
-Arrange the working rotas and ensure that they are distributed in a timely manner.
-Be on the ground and leading the team by example
-Ensuring that the team is working cohesively and that KPI`s and deadlines are met
-Managing the team performance, such as annual leave, sickness and any performance issues.

About you:

-Naturally it goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills and relationship building skills.
-Previous experience in a similar role team leading role would be ideal - but we are also interested in those bright stars who are looking to step up.
-Experience of delivering support to vulnerable customers
-Possess a `can do` attitude, and a desire to be a part of a team and to be a key part of its success.
-Demonstrate the ability to build successful working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
-Excellent written skills.
-An understanding of CQC regulations
