Our Client is looking for a support worker who has experience with learning disabilities, however making sure that the residents in the home are supported to the way they would like to live their life. Client is based in Hertfordshire and is looking for reliable, experienced, caring and supportive individuals who would like to make a difference every day to someone's life.
Position Available: Support Worker - Hertfordshire - temporary ongoing part time
The ideal candidate has the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
To be able to support the residents in order to live their according to their preferences.
To be able to help with personal care as well as outdoor activities.
The ideal candidate will support service users in reaching their full potential by empowering them to fulfil their personal, social, educational & emotional needs, by providing a high standard of personalised-care and support, while respecting the dignity, independence and individuality of each person.
- Minimum 3-6 months experience supporting clients with learning disabilities
- MUST HAVE experience administering medication
- Good communication skills, for a wide range of needs.
- The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
- The ability to work effectively and proactively with individuals who have learning disabilities.
