Our client is a highly successful, rapidly growing, food manufacturing company in Leicester

Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a Site Quality Manager

The role of Site Quality Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, developing and managing the technical team's expertise and ensuring they are clear on expectations and have the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to deliver to their maximum potential performance; motivating QATs to help them to drive improvement and enhance their competence across factory teams; be an integral part of the recruitment and selection process; training and development; performance monitoring; looking at ways of reducing waste and increasing efficiency; ensuring quality traceability is maintained through documentation, robust procedures, training and testing; specification and recipe awareness training to staff where appropriate; non conformance reporting / complaint handling; ensuring wide adherence to hygiene and quality standards and develop and deliver technical training strategy; ensure that operating systems are compliant with BRC, EHO and TSO standards; manage, maintain and review auditing and quality management systems / documentation; and support complaint investigation.

The successful Site Quality Manager will have substantial experience working in a similar role in Food Manufacturing; internal and external auditing experience; and in depth knowledge of technical and food safety legislation. Behaviours to include the ability to deliver root cause analysis, high organisational skills, be approachable, able to work proactively with minimal direct guidance, able to work under pressure, adapt well to change and resolve complex issues. Skills required include: project management, presentation, change management, team working, developed communication (verbal, written and report writing skills), persuasion, influencing and negotiation.

Benefits for the Site Quality Manager role include:
£40,000 per annum
