Site MHE Trainer and Administrator

Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join an established and successful business who specialise in making and developing label prepared foods for the top UK grocery retailers. The role will be for Site MHE Trainer and Administrator to be based at their site in Kent.

As Site MHE Trainer and Administrator, you will receive accredited RTITB training to enable to facilitate the learning and assessment of individuals across the site. This role involves classroom based as well as shop floor teaching, as well as administrative tasks with regards to investigating customer claims and asset management.

In the role, you will prepare learners to achieve and obtain their Forklift Operator qualifications following successful assessment whilst ensuring refreshers are conducted in a timely manner to remain compliant, and to keep and maintain accurate files.

You will also be responsible for the issuing of operating card to colleagues upon completion and passing of relevant Manual Handling Equipment whist being the main contact for investigating and reporting of customer complaints and asset management of equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Day to day planning and delivery of training for MHE across the site.
  • Up to date records of MHE training.
  • Ensuring MHE is fit for purpose and coaching staff to identify issues.
  • Assets control.
  • Continuous improvement - Driving change.
  • Health & Safety.
  • Accident reduction.
  • General administration tasks.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience driving MHE, possess excellent Health and Safety awareness, have proven experience in training/coaching experience and it is essential that you have System 21 (intermediate) experience.

Salary for this opportunity is £28k plus company benefits.

You will mainly work a day shift with the occasional need to support overnight training sessions, therefore flexibility is key for our client.
