Our client is a highly successful food manufacturing company in Leicester. Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit multi skilled Maintenance Engineers
The Maintenance Engineers will be working as part of a team responsible for ensuring that nominated equipment and machinery is maintained in line and repaired when necessary to be available and fit for their purpose during production time; ensuring system is kept up to date and PPMs are completed; all aspects of site services repairs are managed effectively and efficiently to ensure the upkeep of the site is maintained; adherence at all times to Health and Safety / Food Safety codes; and having a close working relationship with Production and other business functions. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy and secure workplace and workshop environment; execute the day-to-day tasks as instructed on the system meeting the target workload; support engineering manager with work load control; ensure work is passed from shift to shift and updated on workmate.
We have opportunities on both Days and Nights working 4 on 4 off 6am - 6pm permanent Days OR 4 on 4 off 6pm - 6am permanent Nights
The successful Maintenance Engineers should have a proven multi skilled maintenance engineer background and a food manufacturing / FMCG experience would be highly advantageous. You should have expert root cause analysis / problem solving skills, and a minimum qualification of City and Guilds Electrical Engineering or equivalent. On a personal level you should be able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, commitment, reliability; have a professional approach at all times; work collaboratively with other departments to achieve best business outcome and have a delivery focussed mind-set whilst demonstrating flexibility to adapt and solve problems
