A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Director with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate is ideally to be based in Northamptonshire. This is a truly exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL, Freight Forwarding and Distribution.
As Operations Director will help the company focus and deliver on the implementation and business objectives across the South. You will be working alongside the Business Operations Director and Senior Leadership team to help develop on-going strategic long-term plans that will drive levels of productivity and success.

The successful candidate will ensure the site capitalises on opportunities to make an adequate financial return which includes identifying new and profitable opportunities to add value for customers. You will have ownership of the site's business plan, operational & financial goals and objectives which are linked to the overall business strategy.
You will ideally be a member of CILT and have demonstrable experience and a proven track record at senior level - in a retail environment, including ecommerce. You will possess excellent communication, customer relation and influencing skills up to Board level.
You will have operational knowledge of such Continuous Improvement tools as Lean, 6Sigma, Kaizen and different warehouse systems platforms. You will be able to evidence proven experience in Open and Closed book commercial operations as we all as experience of managing large high profile accounts.

Salary for this opportunity is £90k-£100k, including company car allowance of £5.5k, pension and 15% bonus.
This role will be Monday to Friday working 8am to 5pm, with flexibility at the needs of the business.
