My client is a large manufacturer of RTE products and supplies to both retailers and foodservice operations across the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to work within one of their sites based near Kettering. You will directly report to the site Engineering Manager

On a day to day basis your duties will include:

Managing the workload of the Engineering department as well as be expected to carry out reactive and preventative maintenance.
Develop and deliver a PPM programme
Work with key stakeholders to manage the R&M budget
Ensuring that the Management Operating Systems are accurately maintained and managed
Controlling Budgets, Costs, Heath and Safety Systems.

Ideal candidates will be a time served Maintenance Manager with relevant qualifications in Engineering, as well as hands on experience of man management. You should be competent in working with cookers, packing lines and refrigeration plants. You will be an effective problem solver with good diagnostic skills. Existing experience within Food Manufacturing sector is essential. You should also have knowledge of Site Production Processes, leading edge manufacturing techniques, continuous improvement and 5S techniques.
