Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to implement their logistics, warehousing and distribution experience as Logistics Account Manager with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis near Halifax, West Yorkshire. This is a truly exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL and Distribution.

As Logistics Account Manager you will be the primary contact for the customer ensuring complete satisfaction and commitment is given to the contracts. You will effectively manage all customer expectations in-line with achievable operational service levels.

The successful candidate will ideally possess knowledge or have experience working within multi-client import/export services within European Wholesale and warehousing.

You will work closely with the operational team to ensure KPI's and SLA's are always achieved. You will also be responsible for attending customer on and offsite site meetings and will identify any potential issues, whilst dealing with them in a timely manner.

In the role you will be responsible for producing regular reports and ensure all analysis is accurate & delivered within the agreed timescales. You will identify opportunities to improve customer service levels & operational efficiencies, whilst maximising any sales opportunities.

You will be a positive team player with ability to build effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders. You will be proactive & flexible uses own initiative. A key attribute is to be well organised, able to achieve deadlines with close attention to detail and be confident, thorough and be a collaborative decision maker.

A requirement is having previous experience of warehousing processes & account management and possessing IT skills.

Salary for this opportunity is £25k plus good company benefits.

Hours for this role is working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, although flexibility is required at the needs of the business.
