A terrific opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to implement their logistics, warehousing and distribution experience as Logistics Account Coordinator with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis in Corby, Northamptonshire. This is an exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL and Distribution.

As Account Coordinator, you will be providing on-going support and excellent service to one of the company's main accounts within the homeware industry.

You will be working alongside their Key Account managers in helping to resolve queries, whilst aiming to understand and align their key account's requirements and communicating with wider teams to make sure these are fulfilled within a timely manner.

In the role you will be responsible for scheduling regular meetings with customers to support all activity and proactively seek to resolve any issues. You will gain an understanding and tracking progress against SLA's and will be present and part of the team to help problem solve and make decisions daily to overcome blocks that prevent meeting the customers required expectations and company commitments.

You will take ownership of producing accurate reporting and data and identifying and recognising key areas for improvements from the data and will manage the incoming customer queries inbox on behalf of the account management team, escalating any queries if required to the wider team.

Skills our client is seeking:

  • Ability to understand and identify the key needs of their well-valued customer and develop on-going practical solutions.
  • Good MS Excel skills and the ability to use business systems tools.
  • Previous experience working across key accounts.
  • An exceptional individual with strong B2B sales environment experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.

This role would suit someone who is looking to further develop their career and look to move to an Account Manager role as part of their future ambitions.
