Key Account / Customer Services Executive

Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Key Account and Customer Services Executive, ideally with international transport experience, (whether from an import and export or freight forwarding background) to join a small, friendly dynamic team in Leeds. This is a full time, permanent role, Mon to Fri. The position is open due to company expansion and continued growth.

The role would suit an individual who has previously worked within internal sales / key account management and can demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service and is looking to further develop their career within a dynamic, fast moving transport related environment.

Reporting into the Operations Director, this is a fantastic opening for a Key Client Account Executive / Customer Services Executive to really become fully immersed in managing appropriate service delivery levels to meet the requirements of your designated client base. An ability to build rapport, establish credibility and develop highly professional relationships with your customers, (and understand their businesses to facilitate growth), will be essential. It is an interesting and challenging hands-on role, and one in which you can certainly make your mark. The role is a combination of active client account management and the provision of an exceptional level of customer services to ensure that the needs of your customers are fully realised.

It is essential therefore that you are highly professional, have a can-do attitude and can work with a real sense of urgency. You will possess commercial acumen, with the ability to identify business opportunities and optimise on these through the relationships and trust that you develop among your client base and from understanding the needs of your customers.

As an individual you will be highly personable, approachable, open-minded and have a positive attitude, as well as show flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in. Great communication skills are essential, as is IT literacy. You will join a friendly, dynamic team and this will suit someone who thrives in this environment.
