Are you a Junior Civil Engineer looking to build their experience with a contractor? Looking for an immediate start?

I am currently looking for an Assistant Engineer to work on a groundworks project in South East London. The position is working day shifts (7.30am - 5.00pm) with work expected to run until 2022

This role would ideally suit a candidate who has a basic understanding of how a site is run within the civil engineering sector - backgrounds being considered are groundworks/infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager
Undertaking inspections for construction activities on site, checking progress and writing up reports including permits, check sheets and Quality Assurance documentation
Submitting reports to the PM and assisting with future programming of work

Candidate Requirements - please apply if you fit the below criteria

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent (minimum HNC/HNC)
Valid CSCS card
Some experience working with a recognised civil engineering contractor in the UK
A good attitude to work - organised, proactive, good communicator and reliable
