Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and commercially driven HR Manager to join a hugely successful food manufacturing business in the Leicestershire area. This is a very exciting time to join the company. They have experienced significant growth in the last two years, and this expansion continues at full force.

The role is very fast paced, certainly not without its challenges, but really is a great opportunity to shape and guide the company's ongoing development and to influence the HR strategy. You will deliver a coherent and consistent message throughout the business and as further plans for expansion are set to continue, this will become increasingly important. This role will suit a HR professional that is well versed within an FMCG / manufacturing or logistics and distribution environment and is passionate about the development of their people.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the HR message across the site and it is therefore essential that you can implement robust systems and procedures from the word go in order to develop the HR strategy from a stable platform. This will translate into a cohesive and consistent message across the company across all facets of HR. A critical aspect to the role will be in working collaboratively with the managers at each site to identify development needs for them and their teams.

The role would suit an individual whose focus is very much commercial HR, in addition to other generalist HR functions who really does have the people agenda at the forefront of everything they do. You will be pro-active, resilient and self-motivated with a positive way of thinking that you will instil throughout the business. You will have gravitas to gain the trust and confidence of the senior management team, with a diplomatic approach to conveying the messages that need to be communicated throughout your business teams.

You will need to be CIPD qualified and establish credibility quickly. A high degree of professionalism and sense of humour will be essential!
