A great opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to implement their logistics, warehousing and distribution experience as HR Advisor with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis near Halifax. This is a truly exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL and Distribution.

As the HR Advisor, you will work with the site management teams to deliver their People Plan to ensure they deliver against their HR Strategy of Get, Grow, Keep. This helps their business to maximise its opportunities and remain competitive in the service they provide to their customers.

You will be agile and proactive with an innovative mindset enabling you to craft smart people solutions. You will also have excellent time management skills enabling you to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.

Experience gained within a distribution background is highly advantageous because they are fast-paced, ambitious in our goals, and often have to adapt to changing priorities to ensure they support their business in delivering a high level of service to their customers.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor include:

  • Supporting the HR Business Partner in delivering against the People Plan.
  • Building relationships with their site management teams, being trusted in your ability to coach and advise on people activity.
  • Supporting their management teams with onsite performance through the performance of their people.
  • Supporting and advising managers on absence management and employee relations.
  • Developing and analysing people data to make appropriate recommendations which can influence decisions on people activity.
  • Supporting with people projects such as brilliant basics.

Salary for this opportunity is £28k-£30k plus company benefits.

The working hours; for this role Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
