Our client is an international leading manufacturer of special purpose engineering products.

Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a permanent Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager for their Leicestershire site.

The Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager role will typically be 80% Quality and 20% Health, Safety and Environmental; and will be responsible for improving and maintaining the management systems for processes and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, reviewing and updating policies, maintaining audit records, training and motivating employees with regards to quality and continuous improvements, oversee product development procedures and customer feedback, help to implement and improve a Health & Safety management system, devise, develop and monitor risk assessment strategies, and maintain and manage the COSHH database.

The ideal Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) Manager will have minimum qualification of Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) either in electronics or mechanical engineering (or equivalent); and the NEBOSH qualification would be highly advantageous; proven experience of working in a Safety & Quality Management role within the manufacturing sector, have a successful track record of liasing with the HSE, auditors and professional bodies, have developed and run quality systems such as ISO 9001, risk and crisis management experience, the ability to build relationships and influence people at all levels, and strong data analysis / statistical skills.
