Our client provides direct support to clients with leaning and physical disabilities within a variety of settings in the areas of Hertfordshire

Position Available: Health Care Assistant -Hertfordshire locations, Full time or Part time, Permanent, £8.21-9ph

We are currently looking for kind, compassionate and flexible support care workers with a genuine desire to care to provide support to adults with learning disabilities around the surrounding area of Hertforshire locations (e.g. St Albans and etc) is to provide care to adults, in the care and nursing homes, whilst promoting the individual's independence. The role can be varied, but a typical day may include, assisting with meal preparation, medication prompts or support with attending activities in the community, personal care for residents.

We are looking for flexible team members, as working weekend and evening shifts will be required.

The desired applicant will ideally have the following:

  • Minimum 3-6 months experience in a care setting.
  • NVQ/ Diploma 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care will be an advantage but not compulsory (further training will be provided).
  • Good communication skills, for a wide range of needs.
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • The ability to work effectively and proactively with individuals who present challenging behaviours
  • Enhanced DBS - (Prefer to have it on the update service)

We are currently recruiting for Full Time / Part-Time

Salary: starting from£8.21ph - £9.00ph
