Our client is a highly successful blue chip professional services company in Milton Keynes; due to an internal promotion they are now looking to recruit an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will provide a commercially focused management information and planning service to support the UK business, the UK leadership team, US management and other stakeholders.
Essential Job Duties: * Provide support and deputise for the UK FD as necessary. * Provide financial analysis to support key projects and initiatives affecting the UK business. * Manage the annual budget process. * Monitoring and reporting on all production cost components. * Presenting and analysing monthly reports, variance analysis and explanation. * Analysis of distribution costs and monthly reporting on distribution activity. * Developing and reporting on agreed business KPI's. * Supporting the financial accounting function as necessary. * Capital projects analysis. * Manage the analysis supporting pricing decisions by partnering directly with business leaders and customers to develop and negotiate complex and unique pricing programs/deals. * Manage and co-ordinate freight pricing models to ensure full cost recovery while maintaining customer value for money. * Preparation and collation of UK monthly management report. * Assist in the UK sales forecasting process. * Support customer related special projects including support to the sales team on pricing decisions. * Provide financial analysis, information and advice to the UK Operations team to support key investment decisions and operating practices. * Support the procurement process with forward planning of resource requirements based on agreed forecasts of business requirements.
The ideal Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will have the following skills, knowledge and expertise:
- Ability to work with people of differing disciplines at all levels of the business. * Excellent Excel modelling & spreadsheet skills. * Strong analytical skills and a high attention to detail.
- Strong presentation and communication skills. The ability to produce meaningful information from raw data.
Qualifications & Knowledge:
- Proven commercial acumen ideally in a manufacturing / B2B environment.
- CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.
