Our client is a highly successful manufacturing company in Leicester. Due to retirement they are now looking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper or Finance Manager.
The Bookkeeper or Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function which will include: monitoring company cash flow, preparation and analysis of monthly accounts, reconciliations, purchase ledger, balancing end of month accounts, preparing and paying the online VAT, monthly salaries and weekly wages, paying the Inland Revenue, paying pensions, and closely liaising with the sales team as the smooth running of the finance aspects of the sales department will be part of your role.
The successful Bookkeeper or Finance Manager may be an experienced Finance Manager, or a Bookkeeper as the company are prepared to provide training and development to the right individual. Applicants should have relevant finance / accounts experience and be computer literate with Sage and MS Office.
Salary for the Bookkeeper or Finance Manager role will be £25,000 - £35,000 depending on level of experience
