Digital Analyst

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Analyst to join a world-class logistics and distribution business which is very well respected in the industry. This is a truly exciting time to join the company, a true leader in their field, as they continue successfully to expand their portfolio of clients. Whilst a field-based role, ideally you will be Midlands based.

You will become part of the NHS Transformation Project Management team, reporting into the Digital Project Manager. Acting as Subject Matter Expert, the role will feed into a number of digital implementation initiatives & responsibilities to drive improvements across the network. Working/liaising with nominated internal digital champions to coordinate & prioritise activity whilst also feeding into the central control mechanism for the company's Digital products.

For this particular role it is important you have a demonstrable passion/skills/experience base related to digital transformation and systems (from requirements Capture through to business acceptance) more so from a Business Perspective (as opposed to an IT 'Technical' perspective).

The role will require you to prioritise and coordinate a number of initiatives through Scoping and Justification, Design, Build, Test and Train, Go live, Early Life Support, Project Closure and Lessons Learnt for the NHS.

As a confident influencer, you will need to be comfortable and effective at communicating and influencing at many levels with various stakeholders both internally and externally.

Experience working to a Plan through Microsoft Project would help but is not essential. You should however be an advanced user of the Microsoft suite of systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and Video Conferencing. Experience of the Google Suite of systems would also be an advantage. You should also have Warehouse and/or Transport experience, a sound commercial mind. 3PL experience would be deemed extremely favourable.

You will also enjoy working in a team but will be self-motivated and equally comfortable managing your own time, travel and workload - working on location with limited face to face opportunities with your direct line manager for extended periods. You should have experience feeding into multiple initiatives, with multiple workstreams based in various locations around the UK.

Project Management experience of digital transformation is an advantage, as is IT Technical understanding. Operational and Continuous Improvement experience is beneficial, and you should display a good foundation of change skills and experiences and be used to working to tight timelines and formal Project controls.
