Customer Support Manager (Logistics)

Job Description

A great opportunity has become available for a Customer Support Coordinator available to a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis in Sheffield. This is a truly exciting time to join the company that specialises in FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Supply Chain, 3PL and Distribution.

The main purpose of the Customer Support Manager role will be to manage the team fairly and consistently and enable them to produce high-quality work, whilst working with their key customers to build and maintain strong relationships and striving to maintain regular contact with their customers.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who trains, coaches, and appraises the team providing feedback on performance and how it can be improved. You will ensure invoicing and stock control is accurate on an ongoing basis giving feedback to the team.

The Customer Support Manager will be responsible for managing all expectations in-line with achievable operational service levels and attending customer visits on and off-site and writing/communicating minutes.

You will communicate effectively with the team daily and with customers on a regular basis, providing clear and concise processing instructions to the team as well as to other internal departments

What our client is looking for:

  • Customer centricity.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • 3PL supply chain experience.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience of warehousing processes.
  • An intermediate Microsoft Office user.
  • Confidence using IT systems to input and extract data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong administration and customer service skills.

Salary is c£40k plus pension and other excellent benefits.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
