A forward-thinking storage, distribution and order processing business that provides a wide range of fulfilment services for a variety of national and multi-national clients throughout the UK and globally, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Customer Services Executive to join their team in the Bedford region on a full time, permanent basis. (Mon to Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm)
As a brief overview as Customer Services Executive, you will provide the first line of 'defence' on all client queries in this essential support function. You will work very closely with:
- clients and their customers - by responding to their queries in a timely, professional and friendly manner
- the team of Account Managers - firstly, by keeping their clients happy, secondly by keeping them informed and escalating issues where necessary and, finally, by performing some admin support tasks as required
- each other - sharing tasks and workload and working effectively as a team
As this is a customer and client facing role, a high level of professionalism must be demonstrated at all times. An ability to build rapport and understand their businesses will be essential. It is an interesting and challenging hands-on role, and one in which you can certainly make your mark. There will be significant inter-department liaison so an ability to work with a sense of urgency, professionalism and pro-activity will be required.
To be successful you will be highly personable, approachable, open-minded and have a positive attitude, as well as show flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in. Great communication skills are essential as is good IT literacy.
