Customer Service Manager

Job Description

A forward-thinking distributor of electrical appliances who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Customer Service Manager to join their team in the Leicester region on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful Customer Service Manager will take responsibility for the development, performance and maintenance of the customer service activities of the organisation.

You will take responsibility to staff and direct the team responsible for a team of 9 Customer Service Advisors and take overall responsibility for the development, performance and maintenance of the customer service activities of the organisation.

You will meet specific and departmental targets and efficiently run the team through developing personal attributes and identifying training opportunities.

You will also achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with effective organisational planning. In the role you will maintain and improve mechanisms for surveying and measuring customer satisfaction and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.

What our client is looking for:

  • Proven leadership experience in a Customer Service Manager role.
  • Thorough understanding of customer services management obligations (including statutory obligations), requirements and dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • PC literate - strong skills within MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Customer centric.
  • Solutions focused.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Remains calm under pressure.

Salary for this opportunity is £28k-£30k plus good company benefits.

Your usual hours will be from 9am to 5.30, Monday to Friday. However, you will be expected to work as and when is necessary to meet the needs business.
