An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Co-Pack Shift Supervisor, to join a highly professional, well established and rapidly expanding logistics, warehousing and distribution business. You will join a dynamic team in Corby on a full time permanent basis, working Mon to Fri, days.
Reporting directly into the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing your team of around 5-15 warehouse operatives in a very busy, fast paced co-pack operation. It is essential that you have a demonstrable track record of man-management in a co-pack environment, are passionate about delivering results and approach your duties with energy and enthusiasm. Naturally you will be the type of person that motivates your team to go the extra mile and as this position is very hands-on, you will lead by example. The management of KPI data will fall under your remit in this value-added operation and you will be consistently looking at ways to improve performance, improve efficiencies and reduce waste and cost, whilst also taking into account all H&S considerations.
This is a high pressure, fast moving operation and would suit an ambitious, forward thinking and dynamic individual who has a real focus on the customer where delivering quality products, on time is essential. As a given, you will have strong communication and organisational skills, an ability to prioritise and be able to hit the ground running.
As man-management experience is a key requirement for this role, you will be comfortable guiding and directing your team and you will have carried out appraisals, one to ones, and disciplinary as necessary previously (with the support from HR). You will have an ability to really understand your team and getting to know each of them will allow you to manage each of them against their skill sets in the most effective way possible.
This is a genuine chance to make a mark for yourself within the business and further develop your experience within a dynamic organisation!
