A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced professional to join an established and successful total waste management business who specialise in delivering, recycling, recovering, treatment, and disposal for all types of waste. The role will be for Assistant Operations Manager.
We are looking to attract a candidate that lives within the West Midlands who can work from home and will be responsible for 2-3 regional sites.
This successful business has a track record of implementing successful transformation services for many high criticality businesses including Aerospace, Food Manufacturing, General Manufacturing, Medical & Pharmaceutical and Precision Engineering.
In order to apply for this role, you be required to possess a Class 2 license and a recognised health & safety certificate e.g. IOSH or NEBOSH.
This will be seen as an important career step for the successful individual who will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Manager. You will be wanting an opportunity for career development as the plan will be for you to take on greater responsibilities and step up to the role of Operations Manager in the not too distant future. Key to your success will be your ability to man-manage.
You will be a natural people person - engaging and motivational - with an ability to lead from the front, yet firm but fair when required. It is important that your team feels valued, that their contribution is recognised and rewarded and that the necessary training, coaching and support is identified and provided in order to ensure that business critical KPI's are achieved in respect of delivery, quality, productivity and cost.
You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have sound analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
You will require a Class 2 license to support driving duties during colleague's holiday and absence periods.

Salary is up to £35k working Monday to Friday (days), with flexibility required at the needs of the business during peak periods. Any additional hours accrued can be taken back as time of in lieu.
