Every year, Barker Ross Group’s Chief Executive, Paul Ross, invites all staff members to celebrate their business achievements. This year’s Summer Conference was held at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire and, like previous Conferences, it will stay in the Barker Ross Recruiters heads for a long time!

We kicked off with Paul’s Strategic Plan presentation, followed by the Directors individual plans and onto the much anticipated team activity…

This year’s activity was a treasure hunt. Although a few people were a little apprehensive to begin with true to the Barker Ross style everyone got stuck in and the general feedback later that day was that it was the best activity yet!

As the drinks tokens kicked into action behind the bar and everyone finished off their Pimms, dinner was served and the awards followed. Nine awards were announced with trophies and a bottle of gold Prosecco for the following: Marcela Hornakova, Bronagh Modlinsky, Colette Ndeley-Niles, Laura Knight, Ian Everett, Mayur Ghedia, Sam Smith, Lewis Sanderson and our recruitment specialist team in London.

This year’s prize for the winning team was a day trip to Paris, travelling by Eurostar with a champagne lunch in the Eiffel Tower – we look forward to seeing the photos! After the awards there was a live band, Monroe, and everyone enjoyed a good dance.

Once again, the event proved that recruitment is about team work. Every single one of us has a crucial part to play in our success, no matter what position we are working in. Knowing that – we are looking forward to seeing a fantastic improvement from being great to being even better!

Paul Ross, CEO of the Barker Ross Group would like to thank all employees that were able to attend and we look forward to seeing you all at the Barker Ross Group Conference 2017.
