In October, Adam Deeprose from the Barker Ross Logistics Perm team and his fiancé, took part in a tandem skydiving. Both were raising money and awareness for Kidney Cancer Research. This is a very important charity to Adam, who’s fiancé sadly lost her Uncle Royce 10 years ago at the age of just 22. After two postponed dives due to weather condition they finally got to jump on Sunday the 4th.

“It was without a doubt the best experience either of us have ever had.” Said Adam. “We jumped from 13,500 feet, with a freefall of 45 seconds at 120mph! I simply cannot describe the rush. Although I cannot recall the first few seconds, I can only remember how loud it was falling through the sky. On the canopy opening, the view was incredible. I could see all across Nottinghamshire and Belvoir Castle looked beautiful. After landing safely with adrenaline rushing, I must’ve looked like a mad man possessed as I could not stand still and just wanted to dive again – without a doubt that day will come again, maybe this time to do a solo jump!”

Adam and His fiancé send massive appreciation to all those that sponsored them. “We raised £1,400 for Kidney Cancer Research and are really proud of our efforts.”
