Barker Ross Recruitment registration process

In order to be fully registered with us, we would like you to read carefully and follow below steps.

You will now be asked to submit the online application. We understand this process might not be the quickest one however, as we are professional recruitment agency, we are obliged to meet the government registration expectations therefore we are kindly asking for your cooperation.

To become a successfully registered candidate, we require the following documents from you. Please upload them on your portal after registration or email them to your Barker Ross consultant. 


a)       Proof of eligibility to work in the UK (Your Birth Certificate must show at least one parent's name)

Copies of:

  • UK/EU passport/ID card OR
  • Overseas passport with relevant visas OR
  • UK Birth certificate* OR
  • Other relevant Home Office documentation providing your right to work in the UK


b)       Proof of NI number

Copies of: 
  • Your NI Card OR
  • P45 or P60 OR
  • HMRC Letter OR
  • Job Centre Letter 


c)      Relevant Qualifications

Copies of:

  • CPSC
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • NVQ certificates


In addition we require the following documents if you wishing to be paid through your own Limited Company: (Please email them to your consultant)

  • Name of Limited Company & Certificate of Incorporation
  • VAT Number (If applicable)
  • 10 digit UTR Tax reference number
  • Company Insurances
  • Business bank details


If you wish to be paid PAYE we will also require the following documentation: (Please email them to your consultant)

  • Completed bank details form (attached if applicable)
  • Completed Tax form (attached if applicable)


If you wish to be paid through an Umbrella Company, please advise your Consultant which Umbrella company you wish to use.
