Being able to identify and implement corrective actions on those findings is an essential tool, which should be used in conjunction the relevant parties. Using root cause analysis to prevent reoccurance and the ability to analyse those results is key to success in this role. The Person: Ideally with a strong background in materials test within an engineering environment is essential, and either be qualified to HNC/ONC level, or be a time served mechanical apprentice.
