Recruitment Company, The Barker Ross Group has relocated its office in Lincoln to accommodate three additional full time staff. The new office is also the first to showcase the company’s £100,000 rebrand which resulted from a major restructure of the company
Barker Ross has also invested £20,000 in e-training software programme and has a dedicated computer suite for temporary workers in the new office. The etraining package which covers modules such as health and safety, food hygiene and manual handling, will make sure workers are fully capable before they go on-site, as safety is of the utmost importance to Barker Ross and its clients.
Lincoln office manager, Rachel Jones, says:
“We all love the rebrand and think it reflects who we are as a company. We are proud of the business we have built in Lincoln and along with all the other investments the company is making, like etraining, we are sure we’ll continue to grow.
Part of the restructure involved creating ten specialist divisions, including one for agriculture which is managed by Lincoln based, business development manager Rachel McCarthy.
Rachel McCarthy comments: “We have achieved a lot in agriculture, working with some of the biggest farmers, food producers and processors around. I’ve got some great local people working for me and we taking what we’ve learnt from here and creating similar agriculture operations in our other offices.”
Be it tractor drivers, sprayer operators, packers, mechanics or farm managers, the Barker Ross Agricultural team will be able to supply a range of people for all sorts of agriculture roles. Barker Ross also recruits for the industrial, food, waste and logistics sectors from its Lincoln office and boasts a live database with over 10,000 registered workers.
